Controllers

Overviews: The product is a micro controller based unit for controlling one off or two tank semiconductor cleaning processes. Multiple recipes may be programmed and stored. Complex recipes may be created to accommodate a variety of processes including: megasonic/ultrasonic cleaning, quick-dump rinsing, and rinsing to resistivity. Inputs and outputs are available to interface a wide variety of external equipment such as megasonic cleaners, resistivity monitors, QDR tanks, etc. the controller may be used as a standalone process controller or may be started remotely by a host controller.

Keypad: All functions and programming are accompanied via a simple, six key touchpad. Messages and information are displayed on a 24 character LCD display. The display features "super twist" technology for high contrast viewing and LED blacklighting for visibility in all lighting conditions. The keypad surface is Lexan polycarbonate with an epoxy "hard coat" for durability. Four LEDs are located under the display to indicate Run, Program, Test, and Error status.

Input/Output: Optically isolated inputs are provided for remote start and stop, liquid levels, safety interlock, and resistivity control. Outputs are provided to interface with remote pneumatic valves (or relays). The remote pneumatic valves provide for easy separation of electrical and pneumatic circuits and simplify installation. Four on-board relay outputs are provided to interface external electrical equipment, such as megasonic cleaning equipment. All connections are made to plug-in terminal blocks for ease of wiring and maintenance.

Memory: The controller is equipped with a non-volatile EEPROM type memory to store recipes and other setup information when the power is off or has failed. No batteries or other backup method is required.

Enclosure: The enclosure is an industry standard 3" wide by 7" tall. The enclosure is molded from chemical resistant plastic and is provided with front mounting for easy installation.

Power Requirements: The controller is normally powered from 12VDC nominal. Other voltages, including AC input are available; consult factory.

Ordering Format PC 106752: Includes: Controller, 8 port solenoid valve, 1 Standard recipe, programming documentation manual.

The 16 Key unit is a microcontroller based utility housed in a compact enclosure with a standard face plate of 3" x 7". The control is designed to replace the many individual push buttons, switches and timers that ore often required on process equipment. This simplifies wiring, minimizes installation, reduces panel space, and improves reliability. Each keypad will allow custom legends to be installed behind the protective membrane.

A 16 button membrane switch keypad allows each of 16 SPDT, 2 Amp relay outputs to be operated. The outputs are presented on both a removable terminal block and a dual-in-line connector. The dual-in-line connectors are provided as an easy way to control valves or other output devices.

Each of the 16 outputs can be defined to be either a momentary output (i.e. output is on while button is depressed); a toggled output (i.e. pressing the button turns on the output, pressing the button again turns off the timer); (or a timer pressing the button starts a timer that can be factory set from .1 seconds to 4096 seconds). The key control requires 12-24 V AC or DC

ORDERING FORMAT PC 106757 Includes: Controller, Interface Terminal Block and Manual.
